Incorporated association 을 직역하면 오히려 사단법인 이 됩니ㄷㅏ… 주식회사 를 명확히 가리키려면 조인트스톡 어쩌구저쩌구가 또 붙어야 하져.. 물론 대부분의 주식회사들이 Inc. 를 주식회사를 나타내기 위한 표시로 쓰기는 합니다만(e.g. Apple Inc.)
프로메테우스를 협회 형태로 보긴 어려우니 Incorporated association을 의도했을 거라고 생각되진 않습니다. 아무런 단서 없이 Incorporated만 달면 주식회사가 보통이기도 하고…
필요하다면 본사에 문의를 넣는 것도 괜찮겠네요. 이건 다른 번역어 문제와는 달리 제대로 답변을 받을 수 있는 문제니까요.
